Description
This circa 1947 postcard promotes O'Kane's Restaurant, located at 2315 Tenth Street. Established in the mid-1940s by Charles and Kenny O'Kane as "One of the finest Cocktail Lounges in Sacramento," the spot's specialities were "Steaks and Roast Prime Ribs." The O'Kane's had also, since 1935, operated O'Kane's White House, a liquor retailer, at 2633 Riverside Boulevard.
