A poster printed during the Russian Civil War (1917 - 1923). Captions read, "Na pol'skii front! Krepnet Kommuna pod pul' roem. Tovarishchi, pod vintovkoi silu utroim! / На польский фронт! Крепнет Коммуна под пуль роем. Товарищи, под винтовкои силы утроим!", meaning, "To the Polish front! Under shower of bullets our Commune is getting stronger.
