Photograph caption dated October 3, 1958 reads, "E. R. Valentine, county chairman of the United Republican Finance Committee, left, with Mrs. Dorothy Krill, Burbank chairman, and H. B. 'Jerry' Bank, Burbank city councilman and Valley chairman of the URFC, discuss plans for a $100 a plate dinner for Vice President Nixon Oct. 15 at the Palladium. They met at an informal breakfast for Nixon at the Ambassador Hotel."
