Description
Photograph of the exterior view of the Frank Miller's Glenwood Mission Inn (hotel), Riverside, ca.1910. The Spanish-style building is quite long in length and stands about four-stories tall. It features multicurved gables, Spanish tiled roofs, arched windows, balconies, catwalks, and arcades. One of the gables has a bell hanging in its highest arched openings. Below the bells are three large arches with large decorative plants. A tower in the furthest corner of the building has a statue of a person holding a cross with a circle at the center of the cross. A small building is visible in the foreground. Chairs and benches line the façade of the cottage. Vines entwine the walls on the side of the building. Plants and flowers decorate the courtyard where the cottage stands. A sign painted on the curb of where the building stand reads: "no horses allowed on inner drive". Encircling the building is an inner driveway. A tree and a bush stand on the leaf littered lawn in the foreground.
