Description: Interiors and exteriors of Earl Carroll's eponymous theater. Includes images of the bars, lounges, art work, statues, dining/seating area, and stage.
Designer of lobby statue is Martin Deutsch. Designer of statues flanking staircase is Willy Pogany. Kaufmann was cited as architect in "Los Angeles Art Deco" [see citation note]. Los Angeles art deco / Suzanne Tarbell Cooper, Amy Ronnebeck Hall, and Frank E. Cooper, Jr. Charleston, SC : Arcadia Pub., c2005. Client and interior designer identifications from Pictorial California. Interior designer listed as such in California Arts and Architecture: Don Riha, interior decorator; interiors executed by W. & J. Sloane.
