Description
Family portrait, with dog. The women are dressed in long black garments decarated with ruffles, ruching, and buttoned fronts, with bows at the collar. The men wear dark suits with waistcoats and white shirts. Most have mustaches, some have beards. Many of the family members resemble other portraits in this album. The photographers studio on the reverse was located in Wemyssfield, Kirkcaldy, Scotland, just north of Edinburgh. From an album of cabinet cards that may have belonged to a Nelson family.
