Redwoods tumbled into South Fork Eel River by floods eroding bluff. Near Garden Club entrance road from Redwood Highway. The smaller tree on top is of interest in connection with root study. Tree 1566 stands 100' to south. The smaller tree shows it to have been surrounded by about 13 feet of silt from floods. See #6410. 8-2-37. E.F
