Photograph article dated January 23, 1964 partially reads, "Police today sealed off the entire Valley in a massive search for a bandit trip who this morning critically wounded an armored car guard and escaped with $20,000 from the State Employment office in North Hollywood. Two of the trio entered the office and shot guard Robert C. Davidson II, 23, 10530 Western Ave., Downey, with a shotgun as he was carrying a bag containing the money to a cashier's window. Davidson's partner, Dick Francis, escaped unhurt. They both are employed by Armored Transport Co."
