The horses stand still on a dirt road with a train track running through it while a young boy sits on a horse at the front of the pack on the left. The horse that the boy sits on has wreath of flowers around its neck while the other horses are not ornamented. A large Victorian house is visible in the left background while sagging trees can be seen on the right.
