A Pacific Electric car is shown in Eaton Canyon wash in the Arcadia district at Huntington Dr. near Santa Anita on March 4, 1943, after it slid off from tracks weakened by flood waters. The streetcar smashed into a Model A Ford as it plunged into the wash, and a second car is partially uncovered beneath the P.E. car.
