Photograph of an advertisement of how to purchase a map, showing part of the map at left, [s.d.]. The advertisement can be seen at center reading, "Send 25 cents (stamps or coin) for this Map done in the old style, size 23 x 32 inches, in full color. Address, F.S. McGinnis, Passenger Traffic Manager, Department. W-17, Southern Pacific Company, 65 Market Street, San Francisco". Part of the map can be seen at left. The map shows travel routes of the eastern part of the United States along with drawings of wagons, horses, and people at top. Descriptions of the Golden State Route and Shasta Route are also visible at top. Photonegative sleeve reads, "S.P. Lord Thomas J. Logan Printed".
