Description
Shown in circa 1980 is the intersection of Second and J streets in Old Sacramento State Historic Park. To the left of the frame is the Heywood Building, built in 1857; to the right of the frame is the Hastings Building, built in 1852/53. In the foreground, passers by take in the Pony Express Monument which was dedicated in 1976.
