Photograph article dated May 6, 1961 partially reads, "Father Collins will conduct a two-week marriage preparation course, starting Monday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 13360 Valleyheart Dr., Sherman Oaks...In stressing the importance of pre-marriage counseling, the Oblate priest said that Los Angeles County has the highest rate of marriage breakups - 75 per cent - more than any other metropolitan area in the nation." Marriage counselor, Rev. Edward Collins, is seen signing up William Loranger, Burbank, and his fiancee, Dorothea Schiro, Van Nuys, for a counseling session.
