Description
Photograph of men mixing mud for adobe bricks to renovate the San Fernando Mission, July 29, 1927. Three men in work clothes and hats dig with shovels at center. They seem to poor dirt into a wheelbarrow which sits on a thin piece of wood. The piece of wood balances over a puddle of murky water. A pile of bricks stands at right along side a pile of haystacks. The large mission building stands in the left background. The closest end of the building is still damaged with discolorations and deterioration in its brick walls. The exterior walls on the far part of the building have been stripped.
