Description
Note translation: Snapshot taken shortly before the Gneisenau arrived in Singapore. It is pasted onto a postcard sent by Karl Braum-Dipp, who was en route for Bandjermasin, to Inspector Witschi in Basel. There is a general message on the postcard which has not been noted here. The persons in the group are not named, but the Gneisenau was carrying "many" missionaries, from "Barmen, Liebenzell, Leipzig and America", "some of whom" are in this group. (PJ/YN 05.2001).
