Description: Dr. Alvin Marks, a psychologist in Sacramento, was a pilot and the president of a commuter airline based in Sacramento, Skymark Airlines. He made a record-breaking solo trip around the world in 1969 in his Cessna. Caption: Dr. Alvin Marks, inset, lifts his heavily laden airplane off the runway at the Sacramento Airport...
