George Ervin Mogle, seen here, was the son of Los Angeles Reserve Policeman George Booker Mogle, who was killed in the line of duty in 1946.
Photograph caption dated June 30, 1951 reads, "Officer George Mogle with Lola Blanche Rick, 35, who was pulled out of car after hitting hydrant at 57 and Figueroa. Mogle, who is all wet in picture ... "
