The crooner from New Jersey and the ballplayer from Pennsylvania were paisanos--Frank Sinatra sang the National Anthem on Opening Day in 1977, Tommy Lasorda's first full season as the Dodger's manager. Here they chat before Opening Day of the 1981 season, the year Lasorda managed the Dodgers to his first World Series title. Photograph dated April 10, 1981.
