At left, three men in suits are pictured on the top of a tractor, its treads visible towards the lower edge of the image. In the seat of the machine, an elderly man with glasses operates the controls. In the background, trees and a sign that reads "C.G. Willis & Sons, Contractors. Los Angeles" can be seen. Just beyond the elderly man's feet, the faces of onlookers can be seen.
