Dear Editor: Monday, March 26 at 11 a.m. in the governor's office in the state building at 1st and Spring Sts., the governor will meet with builder Fritz Burns and Mrs. Winifred Pike, Los Angeles Operation Home Improvement Committee chairman. The governor will proclaim April Operation Home Improvement Month throughout the state. Operation Home Improvement is a national year-long crusade to modernize and repair the nation's homes. It is sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and, locally, by the L.A. Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles Beautiful, the Los Angeles Realty Board, trade associations, civic and labor groups, and leading institutions. We hope you can cover. Thanks, Juanita.
