Photograph of Nevada County Views, showing St. Mary's Convent, ca.1910. In the extreme foreground a series of plants and hedges slightly obscures the image. In the background at center, the convent can be seen. A series of steps leads to the covered front entrance. At the peak of the roof above the entryway, a small cross can be seen. Two additional crosses are visible near the ends of the building. At the center of the roof, a steeple supporting a large cross can be seen. To the far right, a large church and bell tower are visible adjoined to the convent.
