Description
Virginia Nuñez Pacheco (on the left and photo donor's great-grandmother) and her friend Pasqualita are standing outside in front of the old Our Lady of Guadalupe Church that used to be located on Fisher St. The church's tiles are all that remain today. Both of the ladies are wearing long skirts and headscarves. Virginia is holding a rosary in both of her hands. They are standing in front of the tile steps and a wooden door entrance to the church. Virginia used to live on Floral Dr. in the Maravilla area of East Los Angeles. The date of the photo is unknown, but was taken sometime before the 1960's, possibly the 1950s.
