Photograph caption dated April 13, 1963 reads "Edwin Finkbeiner, Burbank, recreated da Vinci's masterpiece." The article partially reads "One of his prize art works is an 8x15 picture of da Vinci's 'Last Supper,' which he internally carved in Lucite and plexiglass and then painted in oils."
