Photograph of an aerial view of Avalon Village looking north, ca.1953. A dense housing subdivision can be seen at center. Most of the streets are laid out in a grid pattern, although a large oval can be seen at right. Sepulveda Boulevard runs across the image in the foreground from left to right. Large cylindrical holding tanks can be seen in the background at right, while agricultural fields are visible in the background at center and left.
