A 1958 product sheet describes this as "a compact radial-beam tetrode with a maximum plate-dissipation rating of 250 watts and a maximum input-power rating of 500 watts. Electrically identical to the 4X250B, the 4CX250B is of all-ceramic-and-metal constructionand is recommended for use in equipments of new design." 9-pin base. Typical usage for R-F amplifier or audio amplifier. "2C-34749-R" etched on exterior.
