Description
Peter Duchin discusses his book, “Blue Moon.” He begins by discussing his interest in mystery books and his job playing the piano and how it sparked the idea for a character that observes a murder while playing in a band at a hotel. Duchin goes into further detail into the plot explaining that two years after the unresolved murder of his wife, pianist Philip Damon travels to San Francisco to perform at a high society fundraiser. At the fundraiser Damon witnesses the death of a real estate tycoon’s heir. Duchin goes on to discuss his wife, Brooke Hayward’s book, “Haywire.” Later in the interview he shares his plans for his next book.
