Description: A wooden trestle bridge and railroad tracks of the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Railroad crosses the wide dry river bed of the Arroyo Seco near Pasadena, California. Seen from the side, the tracks run nearly the length of the photograph.
Title and date transcribed from back of photo-mount. Alt-title devised by cataloger. Printed on bottom of photo-mount: "E.S. Frost & Son, Pasadena, Cal." Though title identifies this is the Los Angeles & San Gabriel Valley Railway, the correct name was is Los Angeles & San Gabriel Valley Railroad.
