Description
Pictured in 1955 is the Front Street side of the Western Warehouse Company at 100 through 114 K Street. Visible is signage for the building’s previous tenants, the Western Van and Storage Company, and to the left of the frame, the faint writing of the Bert McDowell Company, a wholesale grocery outfit that vacated the structure in the mid-1940s. In the lower-right foreground, cobblestones line a portion of Front Street.
