Description
Photograph of a float and marchers in a parade, ca.1920. A float with a boat covered in flowers rides along a paved street in the center. Two men dressed as sailors and one woman stand at the top of the float while others sit around the bottom. Three pairs of men dressed as sailors walk along the side holding the end of a piece of cloth attached to the float. A small float is attached to the front of the float on the left while another float in the shape of a boat with large wind sails can be seen in the right background. Spectators watch from the background while an American flag flaps on a wire extended across the street.
