The caption to this image reads: "Nkeufi [?] church - people awaiting injection." The villagers may have been waiting for inoculations against diseases such as the then-common bacterial infection, yaws. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital, run by the Methodist Missionary Society.
