Frank Sinatra, named the best supporting actor for his role in "From Here to Eternity," strikes a pensive pose as he rests his chin on his Oscar statuette. Said Frank, "I'm deeploy thrilled and very moved by the honor." Bue he laughingly complained that nobody had asked him to sing." Photo dated: March 26, 1954.
