View looking down on Hollywood Boulevard at the intersection with Highland Avenue (in the foreground) in Hollywood, California, with the First National Bank Building (at the intersection at left), Bank of America, Hotel Christie, Montmarte Cafe, J.C. Penny Co, Inc. Department Store, automobiles, and a Pacific Electric streetcar number 59 visible. Signs read "Captains Courageous Freddie Bartholomew, Spencer Tracy, Lionel Barrymore," and "Miller's books stationery, art materials, office supplies, printing." Street construction can be seen next to the streetcar.
