Two boys pose outside beside an alocasia plant in the experimental garden.
The back of the postcard is blank and also contains information about the mission agency: "Mission des PP. Jesuites au Congo. - Missie der PP. Jezuieten in Kongo." There is also the caption: "Jardin d'essais de Kisantu. Alocasia (Oreilles d'elephant). - Proeftuin van Kisantu. Alocasia (Olifantsooren)." ("Elephant ears")
