Photograph caption dated March 14, 1961 reads, "Los Angeles Mayor Norris Poulson, cowboy star Roy Rogers, and Don McMahon, president of the Chatsworth Chamber of Commerce, try to decide which implement--a motorized sweeper, a hand broom, or a shovel--will do the most good in Chatsworth's communitywide cleanup campaign set for March 16, 17 and 18. Campaign chairman Ben Boydston has called on schools, service clubs, church and women's groups to help in the three-day drive which has been named 'Red Carpet Days.'"
