Photograph of exterior view of the Proctor and Gamble factory, ca.1940. At center, several buildings forming the Proctor and Gamble factory can be seen sitting adjacent to the L.A. Harbor. Three large pipes are visible extending from the top of the factory. On either side, rectangular office buildings can be seen. To the far right, a group of four large cylinders are visible near a fence. To the far left, a cluster of small cylindrical containers sit at the base of a large water tower. Along the base of the harbor, several large buoys can be seen. In the extreme background, a water tower is visible near a building and several utility poles.
