Description
A woman dressed for a ball stands in front of a curtain, pulling it back slightly with her left hand. She is wearing a green and pink dress with short puffed sleeves. The bodice is green with a low square neck, edged with pink ruching. The waist comes to a slight point at the center front, and the center of the bodice is trimmed with three triangles of green over a center section of pink. Pink spots accent the green triagles, the bands bordering the pink section, and the waist. The pink puffed sleeves are very full and are accented at the shoulders with pink flowers. The skirt is green at the front, pink at the back, and the front has a hem length tiangle of pink, edges in a vine pattern and a band of pink rucing. The same trimming accents the forward edge of the pink back section of the skirt. She is wearing over the elbow white gloves, and double stranded short necklace with a pendant, three gold bangle bracelets, and a pair of round gold earrings. Her hair is dressed in waves, with a pink plume at the top. She holds a pink feather fan.
