Photograph of a team of about 16 oxen used for hauling lumber in the forest, 1902. At left two women stand on the skid road, an inclined dirt road interrupted with steps of logs which prevent lumber from sliding onto the oxen as they haul lumber down it. Four men stand by the ox team at right.
