Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of the U.S. Hotel at 170 North Main Street, ca.1930. The hotel is pictured at center, a long, three-story Victorian-style building on the corner of the street. A tower extends from its roof. Farther left, the similarly-structured Leighton Restaurant can be seen on the other side of the cross street. In the background, warehouses and highrise buildings can be seen, a sign on one reading "Newell Mathews Co. Vehicles Implements Harness[...]". Pedestrians can be seen crossing the cross-street between the restaurant and hotel.
