Description
A woman, dressed in "Paris fashion" from the reign of Charles VII, wears a black hennin with an attached veil that reaches to the ground. Underneath the hennin, another small veil covers her forehead and the back of her neck. She wears an elaborate gold collar necklace with a drop pendant. Her dress is gold with blue trim on the collar, sleeves, and hem. The high waist is defined by a gold belt with round gold ornaments. With her right hand, she holds the long upper dress raised, showing the crimson underskirt.
