"Inneres der Kirche in Heerlein (M.Balie)." ("Inside of the church in Heerlein (M. Balie)."). Michael Balie is standing on the right. A book, possibly a bible is lying on of the seats. The main focus of the picture is on the wooden pulpit to which a staircase leads. In the background upper left an inscription in Afrikaans which is only partly visible.
Michael Zacheus Balie (born 1878) did missionary work in South Africa West. -- Picture faded on the right.
