Photograph article dated March 27, 1961 reads, "'Bucks for Bonnets' hat auction and brunch sponsored by the Prospectors Guild of Valley Presbyterian Hospital resulted in baby isolettes, nursery equipment and increased building fund sums for the hospital. Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake was the setting for the fete, at which hospital guild members modeled hats donated by famous designers and women prominent in civic, community and entertainment fields. Mrs. C. R. Naylor, general chairman, had assistance from Mmes. Donald Foss, Herbert Willholt, George Balzer, Lyman Swendson, B. L. Larsen, Alvin Meddock, Herman Balleweg, James Dresser, Cyrus Manfull and Leroy Rowley."
