View 1 (2008-1206). Restaurant from street showing front and right side -- view 2 (2008-1207). Shows restaurant front and left side. Contractor's sign (Ed. E. Landon) still visible along at corner of restaurant. Embossed in lower right corner "Harry Schur, Hollywood, Calif." -- view 3 (2008-1208). Front of restaurant from street. Has "Treadwell, S.M." handwritten in lower right corner -- view 4 (2008-1209). Shows interior with tables, chairs with heart shaped backs, cuckoo clock and carved bear -- view 5 (2008-1210). Interior view of tables, stuffed pheasants, painted ceiling. "Thompson Photo Service" stamped on back.
Owned by Max and Ethel Naef, the Swiss Chalet was located at 22nd Street on Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica, California. Opened July 6th, 1939.
