Photograph caption dated September 18, 1963 reads, "Stan Hinds works with North Hollywood contractor Jay Ben Jacobs in the final month of a three-month project to clean up and make sparkle 17 apartment house units and a house at 4642 1/2 Vineland Ave. Hinds said he plans to complete his project with new landscaping, installation of air conditioning and new stucco fronts. Units, he said, are 40 years old, but renovation will bring up the appearance with a modern sparkle."; See images #00129950 through #00129951 for all photos in this series.
