Description
The Los Angeles Soap Company building, 1886. The two-story brick building can be seen on First Street, standing behind a horse-drawn buggy, which can be seen in the left foreground. Five awnings can be seen stretched out over the sidewalk on the first floor, providing shade for storefront windows. Eight smaller awnings can be seen extending from the windows on the second floor as well.
