Photograph caption dated October 17, 1960 reads, "Mrs. Jeannette Button, principal of Rio Vista Elementary School, 4235 Satsuma Ave., North Hollywood, accepts 50-star, U.S. flag from 11-year-old Jacques H. Schiller, 6th grade. The flag, which flew over Capitol in Washington, was sent by Congressman Joe Holt for the John Adams Society, Children of the American Revolution, program opening National Children of the American Revolution's Annual Patriotic Education Week."
