Photograph article dated June 14, 1962 partially reads, "Canoga Park's John Ledwon appears to be a young man in a hurry. He sat down at his first organ in 1952. Four and one-half months later he gave his first public performance during a realtors convention in San Francisco. By the time he was 15, he had flown coast to coast three times to appear on programs in New York and Washington. A White House press release once billed him as 'one of America's fine young organists.' He was graduated from Valley State College last week and plans to head for Europe this fall to continue his studies and see some of the historic sights."
