Description: View of U.C.L.A.'s campus buildings, as seen from the west, across the playing fields. From left to right: Royce Hall, built in 1928-29, and the Women's gymnasium, built in 1932. Both buildings were designed by Allison and Allison, Architects. Powell Library, built in 1927-29 and the Men's gymnasium, built in 1932. Both buildings were designed by George W. Kelham. On the far right is Kerckhoff Hall, built in 1930 and designed by Allison and Allison (Austin Whittlesey). All the buildings were designed in a northern Italian Romanesque style, except Kerckhoff Hall, which was designed in a Gothic Revival style.
