Description
Photograph of the exterior of Pasadena's First Universalist Church and Public Library, ca.1900. The church is located on a street corner, and there are streetcar tracks on the streets in front of it. The building is surrounded by a line of squat palm tress, as well as a couple of taller evergreens. The building itself has three tall towers, one on each of the visible corners and all with open observation decks: the tower on the left is the shortest of the three, but is also the widest and is topped with a steep pyramidal roof the tower on the right has a similar roof, but is taller and narrower the tower in the middle is cylindrical and is topped with a large dome with a spire on top.
