News article commends Mayor John Clinton Porter of Los Angeles for refusing to purchase a piece of land in Mono Valley for the Los Angeles Aqueduct. The property, called Eaton's Ranch, is offered to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for 2.3 million dollars, but article states that the property is not worth more than $200,000.
