Photograph of the view looking north from the Grand View Trail, Grand Canyon, Arizona, 1900-1930. A peninsula of rock is connected to the canyon rim in the foreground by a jagged spine of rock. The left side has a less steep slope than the right side (in shadow) and is dotted with trees. The canyon spreads out into the distance. The opposite canyon rim is visible across the canyon in the far distance.
